Home Ownership Program

Lincoln County CDC offers new construction and rehabbed houses for sale. In order to qualify for Lincoln County CDC's home ownership program you must be at 80% of median income for Lincoln County, complete the preliminary application, be pre-qualified for a mortgage loan through a local lender and attend the Lincoln County CDC's Home Buyer Education Class.

Owner Occupied Rehab

If you own a house in Lincoln County and it needs repairs: roof, heater, electrical upgrades and the like, Lincoln County CDC offers Owner Occupied Rehab. You must own the house; it must be in Lincoln County. Up to $20,000 is offered to complete improvements. This is an income based program. Please download the program requirements.

Rental Program

Lincoln County CDC offers rentals in Hershey and in Wallace Nebraska. The applicant must meet income guidelines, complete the rental applicaton and meet with the landlord. These properties are one, two, and three bedroom rentals. There is a damage deposit of one month's rent. RentWise must be completed by each tenant. You must sign a one (1) year lease.
